About the Role
The Optometric Technician at Target Optical delivers exceptional patient service and supports the delivery of high-quality vision care. You’ll assist guests with paperwork, tests, and product selection, while supporting the Optometrist and maintaining accurate records. The role emphasizes patient satisfaction, safety, and efficient operations in a fast-paced retail optical setting. What You'll Do
- Greets guests without delay when they enter the store and shows urgency in service.
- Explains to guests in-store how to shop at Target Optical; in the Doctor’s office explains required paperwork, tests, products, services, and the appropriate time frame.
- Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy; identifies special needs and consults with Opticians, Doctors or Retail Management when necessary.
