About this role
About the Role The Operator at Sotera Health monitors sterilization systems to ensure safe, compliant processing and product quality. Reporting to the Process Supervisor or Manager Operations, this on-site role supports production, maintenance coordination, and safety in a fast-paced facility in Queensbury, NY. What You'll Do
- Monitors system which includes observing pressure, temperature and relative humidity measurements on charts or computer monitors.
- Turns valves and adjusts controls to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
- Observes sterilizers and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions and assists with repairs as needed.
- Documents and records process readings.
- Reports any damaged product to the Shift Supervisor or Process Supervisor.
- Reports system problems to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician.
