Operations Manager
About this role
SUMMARY
The Operations Manager will be responsible for all operational services, including but not limited to Imports/Exports via Air/Ocean movement, as well as warehousing, and customs brokerage oversight. This role is responsible for supporting branch operational excellence, product initiatives, while driving operational, financial, and compliance objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Technical understanding of operational functions to ensure the branch remains compliant with JAS process and procedures as well as governmental standards.
- Meet company & customer established KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Management of KPIs by utilizing the operational and financial dashboards.
- Responsible for managing operations distribution and workloads, to ensure client and contractual needs are met.
- Awareness of key import and export lanes and operations processes/requirements.
