About this role
About the Role As an Operational Buyer in IBM Finance & Operations based in Budapest, you will support end-to-end procurement processes, enforce category directives, and approve automated PO generation or create orders manually. You’ll act as a subject matter expert in purchasing, liaising with requesters, suppliers, and category managers to ensure policy compliance and value delivery. What You'll Do
- Review requisition requirements, enforce category directives and approve automated PO generation or create orders manually.
- Act as subject matter expert in end-to-end purchasing processes.
- Liaise with requesters, suppliers, and category managers for additional information or questions.
- Provide guidance for client-specific processes and procedures, including the procurement policy and the execution of category strategies.
