About the Role The Onsite Simulation Technician works in the WGU Clinical Learning & Simulation Center in Salt Lake City, UT, supporting nursing simulation labs. You will collaborate with the Learning Lab Instructor to setup, operate, and maintain high-fidelity simulators and related equipment for on-site education.
What You'll Do
- Primary Responsibilities: serve as a professional role model; support daily operations of the learning lab; orient students and faculty to the simulation lab; assist with inventory; prepare scenario props and moulage; set up rooms and recording; operate simulation consoles and AV equipment; monitor safety during lab sessions; provide moulage and voice-over to enhance realism; debrief support and return the room to pre-scenario condition; ensure recording files are available to faculty.
