About the Role The Nursing Assistant provides nursing assistant skills under the direction of the clinical director, clinical coordinator or registered nurse (RN). The role supports patient care and safety within the Telemetry AP3N department, ensuring a compassionate and compliant environment for patients across the life span. What You'll Do
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies; reports suspected violations as required.
- Obtains vital signs: temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure and pain level.
- Documents and communicates abnormal values and changes to the RN per policy; notes observations of patient condition changes.
- Performs AM and HS hygiene per standard.
- Positions and ambulates patients as per care plan; assists RN with repositioning, ambulating, transporting, and other care as directed.
