About the Role Under the general guidance of the Neurosurgeon and the APP Manager, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions following department-approved practice guidelines. The Advanced Practice Provider will join a busy, high acuity Neurosurgery service providing full coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The employee will staff 13-hour shifts 6a-7pm or 6pm-7am within a 40 hour workweek. Weekend commitment averages approximately 1 weekend every 3 weeks. Future scheduling needs, including potential increased weekend frequency or call, may be adjusted based on patient care needs, program growth, and operational priorities. What You'll Do
- Assess the physical and psychosocial status of clients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies.
