A Natural Resources Specialist 4 – Statewide Interpretation Coordinator position with the Oregon state government, based at the Tillamook Forest Center in Tillamook, Oregon. The role supports the mission to protect and promote resilient forests that benefit all Oregonians. The position requires a Wednesday through Sunday schedule from March to November, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in the spring and fall, and 9:00 am to 5:30 pm in the summer, with an alternate schedule available December through February.
Responsibilities
- Lead Interpretation and Education (IE) statewide, guiding interpretation and education efforts as part of the Oregon Department of Forestry team.
- Work within the framework of serving Oregonians through regulation and protection of both public and private forest land in Oregon.
