About the Role Western Digital is building the infrastructure behind the AI-driven data economy. The Metro Engineering Technician role focuses on wafer disposition in metrology, recipe setup for metrology tool sets (FIB, HTSEM, VSEM, AFM, KLA, Nano, etc.), and supporting Metro Engineering requests during off shifts to help improve production cycle time and WIP flow. This position works within the Metro Engineering team to sustain metro-related tooling and processes at scale. What You'll Do
- Support the Metro Engineering team in the Metro area and assist manufacturing with wafer disposition and overall production flow.
- Follow Metro Engineer instructions to set up, modify, and maintain metro recipes.
- Support qualification and operation of metro tools, including FIB, HTSEM, VSEM, AFM, KLA and Nano etc.
