About the Role The Mental Health Trainer reports to the Project Coordinator of the LIU-Nassau County Training & Education grant. The role develops, coordinates, and delivers educational programs on mental health, addiction, and developmental disabilities for healthcare providers and Nassau County residents. The trainer conducts workshops, facilitates training sessions, and collaborates with stakeholders to expand access and reduce stigma.
What You'll Do
- Develop and facilitate continuing education courses focused on mental health, addiction, and developmental disabilities services for professionals and community members, including monitoring and reporting data (registration, attendance, evaluations, etc.).
