About the Role The Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) Acute Services unit is seeking a per diem Mental Health Specialist III to join the on-site team. The role supports care for clients across all age groups in accordance with facility policy and procedures, and will involve leadership responsibilities as part of the unit team. What You'll Do
- Provide direct mental health care within UBHC Acute Services for all age groups according to established policies and procedures.
- Act as a member of the unit team and demonstrate leadership, assisting the supervisor as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support treatment, crisis management, and patient-care activities. What We're Looking For
- Experience or demonstrated ability to work in behavioral health settings and multi-age groups.
- Ability to work per diem and adapt to varying shift coverage.
