About the Role This position is with BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, and works as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and work under the Center Physician for medical issues, with familiarity in plasma collection regulations and EHS guidance. What You'll Do
- Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing SPE.
- Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs; follow SOPs for medical emergencies including the Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
