Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Ibadan, Oyo Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with specimen collection, labeling, sorting, storage, and preparation for laboratory testing.
- Support the Medical Laboratory Scientist in performing routine laboratory tests, analyzing specimens, and accurately documenting test results.
- Operate, clean, and sterilize laboratory equipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and functional laboratory environment.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist with laboratory inventory management and the replenishment of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety regulations, infection prevention protocols, and biohazard handling procedures.
- Participate in MLSCN laboratory inspections and regulatory assessments as directed by laboratory leadership.
