About the Role Terros Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Desert Cove Recovery Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. The position provides frontline clinical support in an integrated Primary Care and Mental Health/Behavioral Health setting, including preparing patients, taking histories, assisting physicians during exams, and coordinating care across teams. What You'll Do
- Prepare patients for examinations, take medical histories, and assist the physician during exams.
- Coordinate information with behavioral health and other specialty care offices; follow up on pharmacy and related inquiries.
- Maintain patient records, schedule tests, arrange admissions when needed, and update files.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, greet patients, and perform general clerical duties as needed.
