About the Role Join Logan Health's Endocrinology Clinic as a Medical Assistant Trainee. You will support patient care while training to become a Registered Medical Assistant, contributing to compassionate, patient-centered endocrine care. What You'll Do
- Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency-validated clinical tasks, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.
