About the Role The Pain Medical Affairs Senior Director or Medical Affairs Director leads global Medical Affairs activities for Vertex's Pain program. This role develops and executes the Global Medical Plan, drives launch strategy, and provides scientific leadership, external expert engagement, and cross-functional alignment with commercial teams. It also focuses on creating medical content, training, Q&A, and externally facing materials, and contributes to the publication plan.
What You'll Do
- Execute and communicate the Global Medical Plan in collaboration with internal stakeholders across Vertex.
- Serve as a senior and advanced product expert for all global compound or disease area related issues with the external community and internally at Vertex.
