About this role
Overview: Mechanical Technician role in Port Harcourt within the Oil & Gas industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, piping systems, and hydraulic units.
- Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault resolution on mechanical equipment.
- Execute equipment overhauls, dismantling, and reassembly in line with OEM standards.
- Monitor rotating equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in equipment installation, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, and reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, PTW systems, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- HND/OND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.
