About the Role A Mechanical Designer who develops detailed piping and mechanical equipment and systems designs, layouts and 3D models for power generating plants, carbon capture plants and related facilities. This role focuses on steam cycle, boiler feed and condensate, water treatment, fuel handling, hydraulic and other systems within an EPC power environment. What You'll Do
- Draft sketches, piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs), plans, sections and details, drawings, equipment layout, and design/model in 3D for power plant systems which could include: steam cycle systems, boiler feed and condensate, water treatment, fuel handling, hydraulic, heat transfer systems, conveying systems, rotating equipment (generators) systems, and Balance of plant systems (compressed air and gas systems, service water, HVAC).
