About the Role As a Material Handler at Sonoco in Stockton, CA, you will support production by safely operating heavy machinery and handling materials required for manufacturing. This on-site role works on the 2nd shift (3:20pm–1:50am) with potential overtime and Saturdays. What You'll Do
- Strap pallets: 2 way or 4 way depending on the customer location, using the right dunnage and strapping gun and an ergonomic machine.
- Perform quality inspections and verify specs on samples using a measuring tape.
- Ensure all floor documentation is completed and filed in the plastic envelope.
- Move strips and finished goods to support production. Compensation & Benefits
- Wage: $22.58/hr, plus $0.40/hr 2nd Shift Premium.
- Shift: 2nd shift 3:20pm–1:50am, Monday–Thursday; overtime and Saturdays may be required.
