About this role
About the Role Prepare and maintain inventory records of all inventoried items. Ensure items are properly identified and readily accessible, and support production personnel by delivering parts as needed. What You'll Do
- Use the computer, post inventory records of accepted new materials received, and materials dispensed by job orders or as recorded on Material Requisition slips.
- Take periodic inventories, as determined by company policy, to verify inventory records and correct discrepancies. Take spot inventories as required.
- Identify and stock bins and/or shelves with received supplies, parts, and/or materials in their respective locations.
- Weight count items for verification when issuing materials from the stockroom to job orders and obtain Material Requisition slip for items being removed from stock.
