About this role
About the Role Manufacturing Operator performs assembly of components and products using detailed instructions in a standardized way. Operates a limited number of stations (usually 1 to 3) and carries out assembly tasks across production lines including drives, mounts, tasks, and engines. What You'll Do
- Punctuality and daily attendance.
- Moderate to heavy lifting of parts from and to baskets.
- Operate various production equipment including air-operated hand-held fastener torquing tools, multi-spindle torquing tools, bridge cranes, manipulators, special assembly fixtures, leak-test equipment, and quality checking tools.
- Housekeeping of areas other than immediate workstation.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform in a team environment.
- Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by management to support Volvo Penta goals and objectives.
