About this role
About the Role The Manufacturing Engineer will provide Manufacturing Engineering support for assigned areas, assist with new product development, estimate and update manufacturing cost data, design manufacturing fixtures and tooling, and drive improvements to manufacturing processes to ensure quality products and efficient production. The role reports to the Director of Operations and supports the Dover Operational Model (0DOVER).
What You'll Do
- Provide Manufacturing Engineering support to assigned areas, including day-to-day problem solving and maintenance of process documentation.
- Create and maintain method of manufacture documents. Modify processes as necessary to improve safety, correct deficiencies and reduce production problems.
- Review engineering drawings, assess feasibility, and provide estimated manufacturing costs.
