About the Role IFC's Legal Department (CLED) provides legal and policy advice to the IFC Board, Management, and client departments on operational, policy, advisory, and corporate matters. The Manager, Legal will lead and supervise lawyers, reporting to the Deputy General Counsels, and work on a broad range of legal and policy issues across upstream engagements, E&S matters, project portfolio management, and corporate policy. What You'll Do
- Contribute to the delivery of IFC’s annual program of financing private sector projects in emerging markets and advisory services, including upstream work to identify opportunities.
- Address environmental and social (E&S) matters, including handling high-risk E&S projects, updates to the Sustainability Framework, and CAO-related matters.
- Oversee project portfolio management, including jeopardy projects and projects in litigation.
