Job title: Major Gifts Officer
About the Role In collaboration with the Major Gifts team, the Major Gifts Officer (MGO) will be responsible for helping United Way Broward (UWB) reach its fundraising goals by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts. The MGO will work closely with the Senior Director, Major Gifts (SDMG) to cultivate donors and prospects within the Major Gifts revenue streams: transformational giving, major gifts of $10k plus, planned giving, foundations, and capital campaign. The MGO will develop strong donor relations through individual and collective outreach, communication, and events to ensure retention and promote increased giving.
What You'll Do
- Implement overall Major Gifts strategy developed by SDMG.
- Identify, engage and re-engage donors, particularly those emerging as the next generation of potential philanthropic leaders.
