About the Role The Maintenance Technician is responsible for evaluating University properties, recommending necessary repairs, and maintaining detailed records of time and maintenance charges for each work order. The role involves hands-on repairs and replacements across building systems and appliances to ensure safe, functional facilities. What You'll Do
- Evaluate properties and make recommendations for necessary repairs.
- Keep records of time and maintenance charges for each work order.
- Make repairs to properties or replace equipment such as stoves, refrigerators, hot water heaters, furnaces; electrical; plumbing; painting; carpentry; roofing. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma/GED.
- Ability to follow detailed instruction, both oral and written, in English.
- Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated skills.
- Knowledge of all job related tools and equipment.
