About the Role OPW’s Conover, NC manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of maintenance activities and respond to requests submitted through an automated system. The role also completes projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and operates on a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed. What You'll Do
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plan corrective action.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment at proper intervals.
- Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
- Review production schedule and perform equipment changeovers or PMs to meet customer demands.
- Test equipment for proper operation and safety.
- Clear jams and set aside product for inspection and rework.
