About the Role This role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment (metal fabrication, machine tools, material-handling systems, and automated lubrication systems), ensuring equipment is in proper operating condition to maximize production and minimize downtime. The position also covers general building maintenance.
What You'll Do
- Complete periodic machine tool preventive maintenance to ensure machine availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul electrical/mechanical systems like pumps, gearboxes, ball screws, slide assemblies and other drive mechanisms.
- Knowledge of all standard measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers and dial indicators.
