About this role
About the Role As a Maintenance Apprentice, you will operate under the direction of the Maintenance Manager to receive on-the-job training to learn repair, maintenance, preventive and predictive maintenance, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems, and participate in housekeeping and maintenance best practices. You will work closely with the production team to help ensure machines run safely and efficiently to produce a quality product. What You'll Do
- Conduct regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities as defined by established work instructions.
- Shadows maintenance team members to learn key work activities in the plant.
- Participates in all training and practice opportunities and meets performance expectations and timing requirements.
- Assist all departments with breakdowns.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
