About this role
Maintenance
This person will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment after completing diagnosis and troubleshooting various issues.
Responsibilities
- Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder’s torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
- Maintain plant sanitation standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent
- Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications
