About this role

About the Role As a Mainframe Modernization SME, you will lead hands-on technical delivery on mainframe-to-cloud modernization engagements, evaluating technologies, designing microservices, and ensuring secure, scalable deployments. You’ll independently analyze COBOL/JCL/VSAM, build modern Java/Spring Boot replacements, and guide database migrations, Kubernetes deployments, and CI/CD automation across the full modernization stack. What You'll Do

Lead hands-on technical delivery of legacy mainframe-to-cloud modernization projects including COBOL/JCL inventory analysis, cloud-native microservices development, relational database design, Kubernetes deployment, and CI/CD pipeline engineering.
