Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities / KPI’s
- Sampling Collection and Handling
- 1.1. Operate automatic and manual sampling equipment to collect ore sample from conveyors, stockpiles, crushers, and processing units.
- 1.2. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of collected samples to the laboratory.
- 1.3. Follow standardized sampling procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Equipment Operation
- 2.1. Operate and Monitor sampling devices, including Mechanical samplers, splitters, and sample preparation tools.
- 2.2. Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on sampling equipment
- 2.3. Identify and report equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Maintenance and Cleaning:
- 3.1. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on the samplers, including washing filter, inspecting for wear, and ensuring the system is free of obstructions.
