About the Role This position contributes to Honda's HDMA logistics mission by ensuring timely, correct-condition delivery of parts to plants across five cross-dock locations and by resolving delivery issues. The role acts as a liaison among carriers, suppliers, the Delivery Team, and cross-docks to optimize operations and support business goals. What You'll Do
- Lead group comprised of suppliers, X-Dock leaders, and Delivery associates to facilitate PDCA / Root Cause Analysis / Why-Why analysis to determine and carry out appropriate countermeasure activity.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-docks on consolidating and reducing loads from the SAX cross-dock to provide cost down for Transportation to meet Business Plan.
- Lead the department monthly report roll-up for UL review and sign-off.
