About the Role The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) will provide nurse-delegated personal care and related support services to clients in their homes, under the direction of an RN. Responsibilities include personal care for activities of daily living, medication reminders/observations, meal preparation, homemaking, errands, and administrative tasks as assigned in clients' homes.
What You'll Do
- Follow and adhere to the client plan of care as directed by the RN.
- Report any client concern or change in condition to the family and the RN Supervisor.
- Assist with promoting client independence by reinforcing teaching provided by the RN.
- Integrate problem-solving methodology and quality improvement in approaching problem areas related to patient care and organizational processes.
- Take appropriate action in the event of an emergency.
