About the Role
Under the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care for a group of patients, under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse. This role supports the health, safety and comfort of patients in the unit/department, addressing physical, mental health, and social needs. What You'll Do
- Perform activities of daily living and personal care under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Carry out technical skills/procedures related to patients' physical, mental health, and social needs under RN supervision.
- Document care provided and report to the RN observations of patient status and basic data.
- Adhere to safe patient handling policies and maintain cleanliness, safety, and supplies in patient care areas.
