About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high‑quality library service that plays a central role in supporting students’ reading, research and academic development across two on‑site library spaces. You will oversee daily operations, manage a small team and coordinate a range of literacy, research and study‑skills interventions. The role is based at Alperton Community School, a split‑site school with an 8‑minute walk between sites and on‑site parking. What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the library service across two library spaces
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations and manage a small library team
- Coordinate literacy, research and study‑skills interventions to support student learning
- Collaborate with teachers and the wider school to promote reading and information literacy
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the library provision in a 36‑hour‑per‑week, 39‑week term
