About this role
A Legal Officer is sought in Lagos to provide internal advisory services on matters relating to the company’s operations, assist with dispute resolution and negotiations, support corporate activities to ensure regulatory compliance, prepare and maintain company-wide compliance check-lists, and provide support in corporate, litigation and regulatory matters including filing and regularization of annual returns with the CAC, attending court proceedings, conducting legal searches, and monitoring title perfection processes at relevant land registries. The role also involves liaising with external counsel to follow up on pending litigations, assisting with contract lifecycle management (drafting, vetting and negotiating), maintaining proper filing and documentation of executed contracts and other corporate records, and performing other duties as assigned.
