Section: About the Role We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will provide sound legal advice, manage legal risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the organization in contractual and corporate legal matters.
Section: Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and practical legal advice to management and relevant departments.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents.
- Ensure the organization complies with applicable Nigerian laws, regulations, and industry requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal and regulatory risks.
- Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on relevant legal matters.
- Manage relationships with external solicitors, legal consultants, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
