Job title: Learning Support Assistant – SENd Unit
Wood End Park Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs within the SENd Unit. The role is part-time (30 hours per week) and sits within a supportive Multi-Academy Trust environment.
What You'll Do
- Support pupils in lessons and activities to access the curriculum
- Assist teachers and support staff as part of a collaborative team
- Help maintain a calm, inclusive and safe learning environment
- Adapt resources and materials to meet individual needs
- Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of pupils; participate in CPD and professional development
