About the Role Transform Communication. Change Lives. SMKT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This role supports children and young people with SEMH needs, across our schools, helping them develop communication, language, emotional regulation, and social interaction skills to thrive academically and personally. What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, and deliver high-quality speech and language therapy interventions.
- Support pupils with speech, language, communication, and social interaction needs.
- Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, families, and external agencies.
- Develop strategies to support emotional regulation, social communication, and positive engagement in learning.
- Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and annual reviews.
