Lead Mechanical & Corrosion Engineer
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, selection, maintenance and reliability of pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, storage tanks and rotating equipment.
- Develop and implement asset integrity management and corrosion management programmes.
- Perform and oversee Fitness-for-Service (FFS) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments.
- Develop corrosion monitoring and mitigation strategies, including cathodic protection, chemical treatment and coatings/linings.
- Develop strategies for pipeline integrity management and corrosion monitoring.
- Investigate mechanical failures and corrosion-related damage and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Oversee inspection and condition-monitoring activities, including UT, MT, PT, RT and ECT.
- Review mechanical engineering drawings, material specifications and vendor documentation.
