About the Role CTUL is seeking a Lead Construction Organizer to develop an organizing team focused on building a base of workers and leading mini-campaigns around wage theft and exploitation as part of a larger strategic campaign. The role collaborates with the SPARC team and helps shape coalition strategy to advance base-building priorities, while supervising three unionized organizers. What You'll Do
- Organize, coordinate and support outreach to recruit new workers at work sites and at home
- Set up 1-1 meetings with workers and cultivate worker leadership; motivate and agitate to take ownership of campaigns
- Build CTUL membership, collect dues, and mobilize action including work stoppages, public testimony, and spokesperson roles
- Lead team meetings, develop training agendas, and initiate projects aligned with campaign strategy
