About the Role NeoGenomics is seeking a Laboratory Technician I, II, or III for the Flow Cytometry department in Aliso Viejo, CA who will assist with processing specimens for clinical testing and provide general lab support under supervision. This is an entry-level role with learning opportunities and close supervision to develop skills in a growing organization. What You'll Do
- Receives, organizes and processes clinical specimens accurately.
- Identifies worksheet, computer, and specimen problems and resolves or escalates to licensed personnel.
- Prepares and organizes written data, printouts, and other documents for licensed technologist to review.
- Prepares testing equipment and assists with preventive maintenance.
- Reports problems concerning tasks, equipment, and supplies to the Laboratory Supervisor or Lead Technologist.
- Operates automated equipment per SOP.
