About the Role NeoGenomics is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for the Flow Cytometry department in Fort Myers, FL. Working under direct supervision or within a training environment, you will assist with processing specimens for clinical testing and provide general lab support as the company grows, with opportunities to learn and advance. What You'll Do
- Receives, organizes and processes clinical specimens accurately; identifies issues and escalates to licensed personnel as needed
- Prepares and organizes data, printouts, and documents for licensed technologist review
- Prepares testing equipment and assists with preventative maintenance
- Operates automated equipment per SOP; prepares reagents and controls; maintains reagent records
- Reports problems to Laboratory Supervisor or Lead Technologist for timely resolution
