About the Role Zoetis in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Laboratory Technician – Fermentation to support the fermentation of active biological ingredients. You will learn and apply basic microbiological techniques, operate and maintain fermentation equipment, and ensure GMP and safety compliance while contributing to a safe, reliable facility.
What You'll Do
- Learn and perform basic microbiological techniques to prepare and maintain cultures, including inoculating, inactivating, harvesting and dispensing product as applicable to bacterial antigen production.
- Operate, clean, and perform minor maintenance on equipment such as fermentors, seed isolators, centrifuges, filtration units.
- Read and report test results using scientific instruments.
- Train in GMPs and adhere to SOPs and associated documentation.
