About the Role TriCore is seeking a Laboratory Scientist to perform waived, moderate or high complexity laboratory tests to support diagnosis and treatment. The role includes equipment maintenance, quality control testing, and potential oversight of waived point-of-care testing. What You'll Do
- Perform/results and document clinical laboratory testing exercising independent judgment and responsibility.
- Note abnormal patient results and inform supervisor, pathologist, or principal investigator as appropriate.
- Operate laboratory equipment, interfaces and instruments, and perform and document basic maintenance procedures.
- Perform routine logging for QC/QA purposes. Collects and compiles QA data as directed. Monitor QC for trends and take corrective action as needed or directed.
