About the Role MSOE invites applications for a part-time Lab Technician to join our School of Nursing team. This role supports the nursing skills lab and simulation center, assisting students in strengthening their nursing skills and participating in psychomotor skill performance testing. The position also assists in coordinating summer programs and in set-up/take-down of labs and simulations, ensuring a clean and organized work environment. What You'll Do
- Work with students in facilitated lab to ensure evidence-based best practice in performance skills
- Help students develop clinical reasoning in psychomotor skill performance
- Conduct psychomotor skill performance testing (Head-to-toe assessment, vital signs)
- Assist faculty in NUR lab courses
- Finalize simulation set-up and assist with debriefing
- Operate and manage simulation equipment
