About the Role
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Lab Assistant for the department of Neurosurgery at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Senior Research Associate and Postdoctoral Researchers, the Lab Assistant will be responsible for supporting ongoing laboratory activities and managing supply inventories, including maintaining an experimental animal colony. The role also involves contributing to regulatory compliance (IRB and possible IACUC), maintaining progress reports, design history file, and compiling regulatory protocols; and organizing and archiving collected data from both animal and human subjects.
What You'll Do
- Assist in packing, unpacking, storing, and maintaining lab supplies and materials.
- Ensure that glassware and equipment are kept clean and properly stored.
