About the Role Chevron Mediterranean Ltd. is seeking a junior/trainee Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to support installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, control, and electrical systems on the Tamar Production Platform on a 14/14 rotation. What You'll Do
- Assist senior technicians with installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters; control valves, actuators, and positioners; analyzers and basic control systems; Fire and Gas Detection and Protective Systems.
- Support routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities and assist with basic fault finding and troubleshooting of instrumentation loops.
- Help with loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning activities.
- Read and interpret basic P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument data sheets.
