About the Role As a Junior Finance Specialist, you will participate in an unusual accounting role with front-row exposure to how a global reinsurance business operates. You will own an end-to-end process for tailor-made reinsurance solutions — recording treaty details, calculating cash flows, and managing client statements including invoicing and more. This hybrid role offers learning across accounting and reporting. What You'll Do
- Gain a thorough understanding of transactions by reviewing contracts and engaging with Pricing, Portfolio Management, Actuarial, and Group Accounting teams
- Ensure accurate financial ledger entries in accordance with deal structures, IFRS 17, and Statutory Accounting requirements as part of quarterly closing activities
- Process outgoing payments and receipts for assigned deals, including payment instructions, bookings, and follow-up on overdue items
