Iron Bender - Foreman
The Iron Bender Foreman is responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating all reinforcement steel (rebar) fabrication, cutting, bending, and fixing operations on site. The role ensures that all structural elements including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and retaining walls are reinforced strictly in accordance with structural engineering drawings, bar bending schedules, and international construction standards.
Responsibilities
Technical Supervision & Reinforcement Placement:
- Supervise the complete rebar workflow, from reading bar bending schedules and blueprints to the final tying and placement of reinforcement steel in formwork.
- Ensure correct rebar sizing, spacing, overlapping lengths, bending angles, and concrete cover blocks are maintained precisely as specified in structural drawings.
